SNAP Ed Toolkit Image The Interventions component includes the SNAP-Ed Strategies & Interventions Toolkit: An Obesity Prevention Toolkit for States, which was developed by USDA’s Food and Nutrition Service, The Association of SNAP Nutrition Education Administrators (ASNNA), and the National Collaborative on Childhood Obesity Research (NCCOR), a partnership between the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the National Institutes of Health, the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, and USDA.
SNAP Ed Eval Framework image The Evaluation Framework component includes the SNAP-Ed Evaluation Framework and Interpretive Guide, which was a collaborative effort between USDA, ASNNA, and NCCOR. A wide network of experts in the field, consisting of those engaged in SNAP-Ed implementation and others outside of SNAP-Ed, provided an extensive review of both the indicators themselves and this interpretive guide to transform the Western Regional Office framework into a national SNAP-Ed framework.

Additionally, the SNAP-Ed Connection is a dynamic online resource center for State and local SNAP-Ed providers. The SNAP-Ed Library is the place for locating SNAP-Ed tools and resources. The interface is built for easy, hassle-free searching. In addition to key word searching, you can sort resources by subject areas such as format, target audience, state, SNAP-Ed intervention channels, evidence base and evaluation, and more.

The SNAP-Ed/EFNEP Southern Regional Center of Excellence in Nutrition Education and Obesity Prevention (RNECE-South) was responsible for the website creation and content transfer from the original documents.
